1995 wrx, power steering pump leeks quite bad on to mannifold and stinks, smoke comes out off vents etc!!!!
How do i solve this?
A] Buy new pump?

B] Fix this one?

Hello mate ,

If your sure its the power steering pump it would most likely just be the oil seal gone - it would be alot cheaper to replace that than getting a new pump .... saying that a new pump should only cost £40 from a breakers .... check the seal first though

Where abouts is the seal on the power steering pump? Is it an O ring like the reservoir seal?
