Would fitting the STI prodrive fuel pump make any difference to my PPP wrx, its a fuel pump of a blobeye going onto a blobeye, my car only has an uprated exhaust system and panel filter at the moment.

prodrive simply use a walbro aftermarket pump anyhows, but yes the pump will have a greater capability

It won't make any difference to you car, what it will aloow you to do is make more power in the future once you've got to the limits of the stock pump....so if you don't indtend mods taking you into the 280+ bhp area, don't bother with a new pump!

It will run the car richer on fuel if fitted. It delivers more flow for any given pressure, and the regulator restriction then pushes up the pressure across the range.

Hi Alyn : Prodrive may use Walbro pumps for some applications but last time I was there they were using Bosch 044 which is a big step up on a Walbro. Are you talking about PPP cars??
