just bringing up a dead post i also have the model code GF8GK8D but i'm located in NZ and mines a nz new.

what i'm finding out about my car in the process of changing the turbo over to a vf22 upgrading from a little td04H is that it has yellow top injectors a 90mm sti afm and what i hope is a sti ecu.

But i've been unable to find out anymore information on the car or this model code it's got 4pots up front and sodium filled stem valves for extra strength.

I just want to know if i'm ordering the right bits for piece of mind.
this is the car

G = Impreza
F = Wagon
8 = 2.0 turbo
G = MY00 (Sep 99 - Aug 00) Version 6
K = haven't a clue ... should be 5 (for 5-door Wagon)
8 = WRX
D = 5-sp. man. trans.

Pretty certain it's a regular WRX Wagon with 240PS @ 6k; 228lbft @ 4k. Don't know what that 'K' is all about

Default VIN number

Have had same problems but from what have found out the 'K' denotes it being a UK car. Hope this helps.
