quick question for u guys .

when driving normally and then put my foot down the turbo starts to boost up but then it jerks and jolts and the engine light flashes on.

it only happens when i floor the accelerator and doesnt if i boost up gradually

is it overboosting or is there a problem with the solonoid ,apart from this id drives normally with no probs

any ideas??

ps its just had an oil change before i picked the car up on fri . over filled maybe?

 

Triggering overboost on my 99MY doesn't set a CEL, also I only get one cut, not a series...get the code checked!

its only one cut/jerk only happens sometimes though which i think is weird?

 

hiya, I am fairly new to my scooby and learning more and more each day be everyones comments on here,, Mine was doing the jerking when under heavy load, and through ppl advice I found a very small cut in a hose from my dump valve I have replaced the hose and the jerk/judder has stopped!!

What boost you running mate? Maybe your knock sensor is picking something up??
