Default heat wrap/heat protection help.

Hi guys just want youre veiws on this . basicaly im fitting a tsl sports cat soon and was wondering whats the best exhaust wrap to get for it? any reconmendations?

also fitting a fmic and wanted the wrap the pipeing in something to reflect the heat away ? the pipeing is right next to the turbo so is it worth getting a turbo blanket?

one more thing is i want the best out of my induction kit as i know its just sucking in hot air but because of the front mount i have no choice! shall i make an air box for it with cold air feed? or is there any other ways around this?

any veiws welcome thanks!

Is the turbo heat shield not still in place? If not then I would fit one. If you can't then yes, A blanket would be the best option.
There is a product that some people use, has one reflective side and one sticky side to wrap the intercooler piping. Not sure how much of a difference it makes.

I have a roll of heat wrap surplus to requirements sat here 2"x50'

The TSL Thundercat i have is already wrapped? Well the cat is wrapped quite snugly. Must have changed em.
I just had a look now at the TSL Thundercat, and the cat is still wrapped so nothing else matters.
Tis only an exhuast pipe that goes straight under your car anyway? Why wrap the pipe?

Can anyone explain what the benefits are for wrapping please? Mine appears to be an unrwrapped 2 piece zorst with sports cat.

Is it for protecting the car? Or for performance? Or both?
thanks.

Several reasons.
1. keep engine bay temps down
2. increases exhaust gas temps (faster flowing)
3. oe heat shield doesnt fit after market exhaust.
