Manual Boost Controller

Hi ive got problems with my boost control solenoid and wondered if a manual boost controller such as the dawes device would just replace it. Does anyone have any info? thanks.

the answer is yes, but try cleaning yours out with some brake cleaner first for an easy fix.

yeah ive tried cleaning it with carb cleaner but didnt work.

Try and get the boost right though.

I fitted one before and was really silly and got tempted to ajust boost a tad higher as its easy to and melted a piston resulting in a 3k rebuild
