Default Another clutch problem post, sorry.

Ive had I search but Im still not 100% sure if this is clutch judder or not, so here goes:

It started about 3 weeks ago, the clucth was only a few weeks old at the time, I had just had a new exedy one fitted becuase my last one had started to slip.

When pulling away in first it just doesn't feel right! I cant explain it perfectly, but it just doesn't feel right. The bite point feels....'lazy', not crisp or clean like it should do

If I let the clucth out too fast (as you normally would) the car judders. I can avoid the judder by 'feeling' the clucth through it rather slowly, but if I change gear normally are hard, the whole car judders, it judders so much so that there is a big clunk. I have now found out (90% sure) that the clunk is the sti intercooler hitting some other part of the engine underneeth the inter cooler, becasue its only fixed with 1 bracket so it does have some give in it.

If I drive hard, like 6k revs in 2nd, then shift it hard into 3rd, theres a huge judder and the car wont accelerate properly until the 2 second juddering stops.

Can this happen on a new uprated clutch

p.s

I have read a 4k start might help, but this all happened after I done one or two of these, might give it another?

Also forgot the mention that if im driving along and slip the clucth, thats when the judder is most noticable

Did you have the flywheel skimmed or replaced?

No, not that Im aware of. Why does this need doing and what kind of costs are involved? I paid around the 320-340 quid mark IIRC
