Triple layer steel head gasket 1.6mm (zen performance @£50+VAT)

ARP head bolts (zen) £145

ACL race bearings/big ends £57

Try Zen Performance 08450559366

If your pockets are deeper then:-

Forged pistons/ rods etc etc etc for 400+bhp

For a reliable 400 I would suggest having the bottom end rebuilt if you haven’t considered this already. Rods, pistons and bearings would be of the aftermarket forged variety. Then consider your external bolt on’s other wise you may be back to the engine shop sooner than planned, failing that I would set my sights a little lower on the BHP for long term reliability

400 BHP
Md series Turbo
740cc injectors or 550cc above standard fuel pressure.
SX/Fuel lab Fuel pressure Reg
Stainless headers.
FMIC
Apexi Ecu etc
Bosh/Walbro Fuel pump
Induction kit, ideally cold air feed.

What bhp can i expect with standard RA (94)internals,note it had a new crank
fitted october 07,and whats the best bolt on mods to fit (engine is out at the minute) and am still confused how to go about ecu/remap am i correct in thinking a 94 ecu cant be remapped, noticed a lot of people fit apexi fc is this/cheapest way to remap

It would depend on the condition of your current engine.

If your engine is already out then you may as well uprate.

bolt on mods are as Neil stated above.

ECU wise Apexi is an excellent solution and cheaper than other stand alone solutions.

There are a wide number of mappers around and it really is a great piece of kit.

Slowboy-Racing have got a special on at the moment as well I think, to fit supply and map an apexi for £700...
Worth probably asking them for a package price including build and achieve your target safely and easily....
