Default Overboosting, I think? HELP!!!

Can someone please help? I have got a MY95 2000 turbo. I have just blanked the DV off and got myself a Pipercross induction kit. Since ive done this, the car seems to stall when being put under load. It stalls for a split second then comes back again. Its like it is overboosting even though the car is totally standard apart from the mods ive said. Could blanking the DV off be the cause of this? Or could it be something more serious? Need help guys!!!

Is it hesitant before coming on boost or full boost?
Mostly in 4,5th gear, any gear?

What max boost are you seeing?
If you dont have a boost gauge it would be a good idea to get one.
Cheers

Try putting the standard airbox back on!

My scoob occasionally overboosts to fuel cut in the dead of winter cos the air is so much denser, i have an induction kit!

I would say this was a hesitation.
Are you actually hitting fuel cut? Does it feel like someone just stamped on the brakes when this happens?

Like said above the quick fix is ditch the IK and put the air box back on.

why have you blanked the bov off ?
it's more liely hitting cut because of that , put the bov back on and see if it still does it.
