Can someone please explain where the O2 sensors are on newage
Did a search and just ended up more confused
Is an 02 sensor the same as a Lambda sensor ?
How many of them, what do they do and where are they situated on a blob eye ? Believe there is one in the headers ?
Many thanks for any help !

Pete,
Despite what a certain Subaru technician says, they are oxygen sensors - Lambda or air fuel ratio equivalent is calculated by the ECU.
The main sensor is in the exhaust manifold just before the start of the up-pipe. If you look at the drivers side front wheel arch, you'll see a little removeable cover at low level at the front. Behind this you'll see the sensor. Its more obvious with the big under tray removed.
The second sensor is in the second part of the downpipe, next to the gearbox.
