Default Boost pipe pic?

Need a wee favour folks. 99 uk turbo

My car went into limp mode the other day and I have since changed the maf and tried to do a fault code check . It didn't seem to throw up any codes, just a constant flash of the cel light.

I was also told to check the boost pipe to see if its came off/split or check the control pipe to the d/valve or fuel pressure reg. I had a look but i'm not too sure what i'm looking at tbh . Can someone put up a pic and highlight what I should be looking for please.

Not sure what else to do.. Any suggestions ?

cheers.

consant flash means no fault codes stored, try disconnecting the battery for an hour or so to reset the ECU then give it a run up the road.

do you have a boost gauge fitted?

if you do what were the readings before and after it went into limp mode?

No buddy, no gauges fitted.
I'm going to pop out in a minute and disconnect the battery and take it from there.
What's the best procedure.
Reconnect the battery and drive it round the block, should it then clear itself with a new maf?
Or will i need to do another fault code check?

cheers for the help btw..

no problem, if the fault has gone then no need to do another check unless the engine check light comes on again.

Right........Had the battery dis-connected for about an hour/hour and a half. Re-connected it and took the car round the block and it's still the same. Done another f/code check and it came up with nothing. Still the same cel light flashing .
No long flashes or short flashes just a constant flash.

Any ideas ? I'm lost..
No noise from the Cold air kit either..!!

my 05 manual states;

"
The Check Engine Light, now called the MIL,
Malfunction indicator Lamp, provides
communication to the driver and the Technician.

The steady illumination to the driver with the
engine running indicates an existing problem.
Flashing at 1 Hz indicates that a misfire that can
cause catalyst damage presently exists
(Immediate dealer attention to the vehicle is
recommended)."

I have no idea if this applies.

mine did that a few days ago, just flshed on and off constantly, but i cant remember what it was, have you checked all the fuses even the big green ones in the engine bays fuse box, take the clear plastic off the top of the green ones and check them, i will try to remember what else i changed and let you know, hope this helps, phil.
