my brother recently did an upgrade on his td05 turbo putting the comp wheel and housing from a td06 18/20g (i carnt remember which) onto his td05

now thats done its not getting full boost where it should, the boost is going up with the rev's ie full boost at top rev's is this due to the fact that it will need a remap?

he has done the work himself this is on a 97 classic uk turbo with a
2.5 sti short conversion, flowed heads, fmic, full s/s from the engine, walbro 255 pump, FPR, 440 injectors and an induction kit. he has yet to do a remap because he wants 650 injectors but he has bought a remapable ecu.

could this be down to a remap or something like a vaccume pipe?

never going to run correctly without being set-up and riskes destroying his hard work if he continues to try and run it on boost................
