Default STI V9 - Engine compression?

Hi Guys,

Posting this on behlf of my cousin.
He has just bought a V9 2.5 block.
He says he knows the bore size but needs to know the compression ratio for the engine (does that make sense? if not let me know and i will get more info of my cousin)
Hope you guys can help.

Thanks in advance.
