i am thinking of buying a new set of aftermarket headers for my 54 plate wrx which are the best ones and will i loose the burble from my car as some have said it goes once you change the headers, and that they dont give any more bhp,

any advise would be great thanks.

 

Headers are only worth it on engines going for big power,above 380 or so,standard item works well when ported and retains the classic burble.... if the replacment headers are still unequal length then the burble remains,go to equal length and you loose the burble,to be replaced with a superbike style scream at the top end...... hope that helps.
