What is the best intercooler to go for? Mine is looking a bit old and I was wondering if there was a good upgrade that would be an easy swap (like an sti?)

 

Go for an STi8/9 top mount, there easy to install and are good for upto 400bhp. Plus with there being no long pipes, there is very little lag

 

There was a very good write up by Scott in the projects section. It was the same year of car as yours and with the IC mentioned above.

Its a relatively easy fit, but you really need to see the thread to see if you are happy with the required mods.
