Possible engine damage to my turbo 2000
Just want to know your thoughts on the following..
I had an accident in my 99 Turbo 2000 a couple of weeks ago.
A car came into my front right hand corner at about 30mph (i was to blame)
The insurance company have taken the car and unsure if they should write it off or not. The car did not start after the accident and after investigating they say the timing belt has come off, they have ordered a pulley and say if the pully sorts the problem out and starts the engine then they will fix the cosmetic damages and give me the car back.
Now im not filled with a lot of confidence because they got the pulley the other day and now they go they cant put it on because the chasis leg has been bent and they need to get it on the jig to straighten the leg out and then put the pulley on.
Should i be concerned about anything else? im getting quiet frightened if they give me the car back because the damage which has been done seems to be quiet serious.
If there is any engine damage then they will write the car off but they seem to think the pulley will get the start started.
Is there anything else i need to bear in mind ?
