which induction kit for 96 sti ra.
hi there, lookin for an induction kit for my ra, been hearing horror storys about them ruining the maf on certain cars. which induction kit is best to go for to limit any risk of this. been told to look for dry filter ones. which is the safest filter to buy, i need to know for a fact lol. also been told the 96 maf is more robust but as long as u keep the filter still and make sure it aint an oiled 1 it should be ok.
which filter is suitable, one that is dry and also has good filtration properties.
any help much appriceated. cheers

There all ****e and a waste of money imho, theres simply no gains to be had from fitting a induction cone to the impreza engine unless ya going over the 450-500bhp mark
ya need a dry foam panel filter for maximum results
apexi panel filter is the only one worth considering

cheers mate, i realise there is a huge debate over wether an induction kit gives u much gain over std, i am not after views on wether i want an induction kit or not, its just which induction kit should i go for out of the lot of em.
my reasoning is that it is just a temperary thing as i will soon be running motec m400 ecu so maf will be binned so those problems will not matter any more. also filter will be located in the wing as to get the intake temperatures down.
i just want to know which kit for the time being.
cheers for your input tho mate.
