Question Water in my oil

Hi,

I don't have a scooby sorry. It's a honda civic coupe but I've fitted a TD04L turbo on it. It's been going great and it's a bit of a street sleeper which is cool. But I have a problem.

I am getting a bit of water in my oil. Normally, that along with the car overheating, it would mean a blown headgasket. But she's not overheating and it's not enough water for a blown headgasket. Though it could just be on the way to going.
The thing is, as it's a water cooled turbo, is it possible that a seal has gone and so there's water leaking into the oil inside the turbo?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Get a compression test and go from there. Like you say the gasket may just be going, is it a std gasket on there? more likely to go seeing as your now using forced induction. or maybe a cracked block ?

Thanks. Yeh, I intend doing a compression test. It's a standard gasket and they don't normally go, even when boosted. It was fine before the turbo went on.

I don't know what the internal oil and water ways are like on a TD04L so I was wondering if maybe there's a known issue with this turbo where the seals can go and the oil and water mix.
