Default knocking noise

Thought i would post this here as i dont know if its the suspension or the brakes or what ever,

Picked up a my99 about 2months ago, and ive just start to hear like a knocking / banging noise going over bumpy roads, sound like its from the drivers wheel, so tonight i have had the wheel off and looked at the wishbone, ARB and they dont seem to bad, had a look at the spring dont look snapped. so but wheel back on and went for a drive.

Noise is still there but have found if i place my foot on the brake pedal and push it down alittle so iam riding my brakes while driving and the noise stops. so dont know if its the front or rear now, but sure its on my side.

so really could do with some idea's dont like to spend money if i can fix it myself.

Cheers
