hey guys... i have a renault clio and it wont start!

the battery is not dead and it starts sometimes when u turn it on and off and push the clutch or accelerator on sometimes... it started at first now it wont start at all!... grrr

anyone know why this is?.. could it be spark plugs?

any help really appreciated
