Power lose with standard back box?
I'm currently running 306bhp with a pile of the usual mods (sportscat, STi up-pipie, VF35, fuelpump, etc, etc). Also have a prodrive backbox but as I use the car for work (and phone calls on the handsfree car kit) I'm finding the exhaust noise/drone on the motorway at speed a bit of a no no.
So, going to change the back box. Was thinking about an STi one, but tempted to go back to the standard WRX backbox to really quieten it down (had the standard exhaust on my old modified classic and liked the speed/quiet combo).
How much power do you think I'll lose? 5-7 bhp? Can't see putting a more retrictive backbox in would cause any other issues.
Cheers
Richard.
