i'm removing my turbo/down pipe....well trying!

has anyone else suffered with these two bolts or is it just me !!

they can be a pain ended up cutting a bolt to get the downpipe off

14mm socket, knuckle and long extension from underneath should do it.

or 2 spanners ones with hex and normal ends to get more leverage and lots of wd

also looks like the top ones pulling the stud out with it so will be harder

Its the nut that can only be undone from under the car that gets me everytime - especially on big bellmouth d/pipes
The thread on the top one doesn't look too healthy - get the hacksaw ready.

Make sure you use a six sided 14mm socket, not 12 sided

Heat them up with a propain torch and use a 6 sided socket or ring spanner. Done mine at the weekend gone! Took 2hrs like!

Looks like the top bolt is winding the stud out too, mine done the same only with the other bolt!

I managed to get the bolts off in the end. I set about the 1st one with a dremmel, hacksaw and an Air Chisel and eventually it came off. then the final one came off very easily - i think it must have been shaken free or was scared of ending up like the last one ....
