Unhappy gearbox problems

ive broke my box and looking for a replacement the only thing is im going to have to upgrade i think. ive put a ej2.5 enjine with 322bhp and 376torque do i needa better box? if so wich one. or can i put a standard one back in. would a 6 speed fit? its a wagon classic 96. does any one have any bright ideas cheers

yeah the torque will have mullered it.

oprions are as follows

6 speeder - 2k ish once you add vat and fitting etc
ppg helical cut - 3.5k + vat
ppg straight cut - 3.5 + vat


depends on how deep your pockets are

yes it will def fit into the space, make sure you get the correct diffs etc as well, and im not sure if the exhaust gets in the way or if you need a custom downpipe, iirc i think you need a new one but can#t remember off the top of me head

what do you meen about the correct diffs am lost with that one

not all scoobs have the same diffs, so not sure if the 6 speed from a new age will have the matching diffs
