DCCD - explained?
Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what exactly each setting on DCCD is about?
Basically settings for each weather conditions or driving style?
Cheers

The DCCD is a rear biased torque split centre diff with an electronically controlled limited slip function via an electric solenoid and clutch plates, the more its engaged the more understeer you will tend to get, the looser it is the more oversteer. Contrary to popular opinion it does not effect the static torque bias (until there is a speed difference front and rear when the limited slip function obviously does). Even its in most open mode there is still a small limited slip function due to the preload created by the belleville (cone) washers compressing the clutch plates.
I'm not familiar with the 07MY so can't comment on settings.

in a nutshell from my experience of the A-DCCD on the 05 onwards:-
AUTO setting - lots of very clever computers do their best to stop you ending up in a hedge and make you feel like a driving master.
the LOCK setting - scares the crap out of you when you have the car on full lock as it clunks to the point of making you think you've destroyed the diffs.
Fully wound back - great for kicking the back of the car out. can quickly go wrong unless you have the reaction skills of a fighter pilot.
As for the other settings in between, they possibly have some use on a track but i don't think you'd notice any difference on the road.
AUTO setting for me in all conditions
