Default sport cat downpipe

i've allready a s/s kakimoto full mega n1 3.5" exhaust and going to replace oe downpipe for a scoobyworld sport cat downpipe.
i've 2 questions: do i need a remap after fitting the downpipe, would give more latent boost?
how much power/torque gained with this downpipe?
thanks

Only an opinion:

The engine will exhaust better for the down pipe, but would breath better with a good panel filter in place at the time of doing the D/P.

The car will respond better and give a little more, but the response will be the factor you will feel.

Doubt you will need a re-map but you might get fuel cut on cold damp days as boost increase might be enough to tease the ECU into that mode.

Just my opinion.

just out of interest what gains would be expected from a sportscat compared to a straight through decat downpipe?

You would lose about 2bhp, but pass an MOT......
