Default rocker cover

im going to change my rocker cover gasket drivers side is there any risks with doing this do i need to use other sealant along with the gasket,do i have to drain the oil ect

im just about to get this done this week too i think ull need some extra liquid sealant too though, have you got all the gaskets? might as well change the lot while ur there, spark plugs holes half moons ect

got the gasket for the rocker cover thats about it im very new to all this so im afraid its a learn as you process so any help would be appreciated.

depending on years there are approx 10 different gaskets for each side,change them all or youll be stripping it back down in a few weeks,the oil should be back in the sump so dont need to drain the car,take as much out the way as possible give yourself as much room as its bloody fiddly

the only other gasket that i might have to replace from what i can see is the oil separater cover gasket if you know what other gaskets i have to replace let me know cheers

depending on year you will need the 2 spark plug gaskets and rocker bolt seals/gaskets,whole kit can be bought from lateral performance,early ones have 6 bolts 2 plug gaskets and the main outer
