Default turbo and injectors

hi guys ive got a 2003 wrx sti type uk with full de-cat K&N typhoon induction kit and with a re-map its producing 347 bhp 333 ft/lb . I would like to move onto the next stage of tune and maybe reach the 400 mark but with so many turbos etc which would be best suited and are injectors needed and do people fit these thereselves to cut costs then just have it mapped?

many thanks

If you want 400/400 then you will 650 injectors, as for turbo's most people will say the md321h is very good, but then there is also the SC42 from Scoobyclinic as well, and others.

Do a search and you should find lots of stuff on here about this very subject.

I was in a similar position to you, I couldn't justify the price of an md321 and injectors so I went:

Td05 20g
Aps induction
Gt Spec headers and uppipe
Full 3inch decat
Colder plugs
Fuel pump
Apexi avcr
Andy F remap.

Delta dash figures showed around 390bhp and 370lbft.

You could run an 18g like a lot of others, to retain maximum driveability, circa 370bhp.

Using additives would get you close to the 400 mark

Already had full decat, fuel pump and plugs mapped on original turbo, from stage 1 tuning.

Upgrades to Stage 2 were:

td05 20g £560
Gt Spec headers + uppipe £350
Apexi avcr £190
Remap by Andy F £220
