what are the advantages of adding say 10% methanol to an umapped car??? I don't want my car mapped that way but I am curious to the benefits of following that route ???

Methanol is a very cold liquid when atomised,

Cools the charge temp,

On a non mapped car, no point what so ever, unless you have a fault.
