if i get hold of an sti ecu and fit it to my uk 98 terzo would it work ok without changing turbo? and give me an increase in performance or would i need to swop turbo as well??

It wont work, the engine and sensors are different.
Your best bet is a PPP ecu if you want more power or something like an apexi (2nd hand) or just go for an exhaust and filter, normally safe with those mods

got exhaust and filter and boost control thing on dash to increase boost was fitted to car when i got it but looking for a bit more power now kinda got used to it.would it work from a wrx or is any ecu gonna be a no no,other than an aftermarket one, as saw this
