do you have a boost gauge? what year is the car.

is it making 0.5bar ish.. ie. actuator pressure or 0bar..

if 0.5bar then the ecu could have pulled the boost back due to a problem, or the boost solenoid could be sticking, or you have a small leak so the turbo cannot produce the pressure needed as you are charging the engine bay not the inlet..

if 0bar then most likely a large intercooler pipe leak, or turbo has had it.. but likely to come with noise and holding back etc..

A smallish rod on the turbo, mabye connecting the actuator to the wastegate had come off. A little c clip had come off thank god.

Cheers for the info anyhow. While Im on it's a 98 S turbo 2000. Now I know you can't map these ecu's. What could I get done to it as I beleive you are the man to see about ecu's?
