Maf for an STI 6
Hi,
Does anyone happen to know what tbe part number is for a 1999 version 6 STI?
I have bought one with the part number 22794AA010 and having fitted it find it has made not much different to the car at all. Its still missfiring like a good'un, especially at lower revs when driving it along!
Would be good to be able to rule at the MF once I know I have definetley bought the right one.
Cheers,
Justin

What would the symptoms be with a dodgy Lamda sensor then?

My engine light kept coming on and off and found out it was a bad knock sensor. I have since had a new one fitted 3 days ago and have not seen the engine check light on since.
It is still running like a bag of old nails though
I guess the engine check light would come on if the Lamda sensor was sick?

your car has probably gone into "limp mode", just changing the maf or knock sensor won't rectify this, you will need to reset the ecu.
the easy way to do this is disconnect the battery for around half an hour then reconnect and see if that sorts it out.
