Default Dropping revs??

Hi all, can anyone suggest what is wrong with my car? It's a 97 sti, when i i'm driving then come to a stop ( at lights etc) the engine revs start dipping and sounds like it's about to stall, but about 20-30 seconds later it settles down back to normal. Any suggestions?
