Hi,

I've just bought an APS TMIC, second hand off a guy selling it as an APS/WRC Technologies TMIC.

It arrived today and I instantly noticed that it wasn't as big as I thought it should be. I got it home tonight and measured it up and compared it to the APS TMIC and it is smaller, by quite a bit, but still bigger than the newage STi intercooler.

APS TMIC 51cm x 19cm x 11cm which is 11075cm cubed
WRC TMIC 46cm x 18cm x 9cm which is 7452cm cubed

Standard is 4305cm cubed

Was there an early version APS intercooler or have I not bought an APS intercooler?

Its nearly twice the size of standard but I was expecting 2.6 times as the APS intercooler are.

I didn't ask the guy if it was definately an APS as it said it was in the advert.

I might be wrong but I thought "WRX Rich" on here messed about with various Top Mounts for a bit.........very thorough and knows his stuff

Maybe a PM in his direction could help

I am pretty certain that as well as flogging the APS TMIC, WRC tech sold their own version for less money.

I presume this is what you have.

Sorry to hijack OP

I'll check my aol e-mail from work this afternoon

AOL completely changed about 2 weeks ago...different welcome screen, fonts, etc. Also seemed to lose a few e-mails

Has your AOL front end changed ??
