Default CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

I fitted a boost gauge today to my96 import WRX, all seemed well until i started the car, the check engine light has come on but i dont know why????
The only difference i have made is putting a t piece into one of the vacuum hoses!!!

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, many thanks.

look under the drivers side dash! rite the way up there u'll see some wires hanging (maybe tapped up) 2 green plugs and 2 black plugs. plug the 2 black ones together and turn your ignition on! your check engine light will start flashing. you'll have short flashes and long flashes! a quick flash means 1 and a long one means 10! so say you get a long flash and 3 quick flashes thats code 13! count your flashes and then do a search on here for ecu codes. or just post it up in here and one of us will tell you.

Hope that helps

JollyGreenMonster.co.uk has a 'How To' and a list of error codes.
