3k revs in 2nd gear
I have year 2000 with problems. When I reach 3000rpm in 2nd gear it is like hitting a brick wall if I change into 3rd it will pull up to 3000 again and same again and so on.
I have changed all the usual bits i.e coil packs, sensors, checked the boost which seems to be at 0.7.
I am running out of ideas can anyone help.
Thanks in advance for any advice
Mark

Could be your boost pack (drivers wing bolted to the strut tower) Friend had the same problem and he changed everything you changed and it still did the same! as soon as he changed the boost pack it solved it
hope that helps

Sounds very much like a knacked MAF to me. The strange thing is that normally the engine light will light up if it's so knacked that it feels like hitting a wall. Have you tried to read out error codes from the ECU? If not try this one: Main Heading Goes Here
