Power steering whine?

Default Power steering whine?

I'v noticed every time i give the car some hard driveing,the power steering whines and gets louder as i turn,the fluid is on the dipstick,and it does not make any noises from normal soft driving?help please

New steering pump mate,just did mine as it did the same thing after a good raz up the road.I would try and get it reconditioned as a new one is as much as a small car from subaru

You could try topping up the power steering fluid anyway. I had a quite notable whine from my last Classic and although it registered as full on the dip stick I could in fact add more - much more than I thought possible. Result: whine gone. I think others have also found that you can top up an apparently full PS reservoir.
