knock link sensor

Default knock link sensor

my knock link arrived to today brand new off ebay 90 euro deliverd thought that was prity cheep anyway would my car have a sensor i could just plug into or would i need to buy one its a 98 sti ra cheers if it does have one where would it be thanks

the car does have a factory fitted kncok sensor,not sure if you could this as its linked to the ECU.

you could splice into the wiring and wire it into the knocklink you have and try it,in theory it should work,but dont know for sure,i used a sperate sensor

the factory fitted one is to the right of the intercooler,as you look at the car with bonnet up, and its tucked under some piping,kinda hard to describe
