Default M30 Alarm problems - please help???

Having not used the vehicle (sti7 2002) for about 6 weeks the battery is fully flat. - had to open door with key (button not responding).

Put battery charger on and alarm goes off - still does not respond to keyfob. Have put new battery in fob still nothing.

Reading your m30 codes document it talks of 'super-lock' which turns off key fob receiver??? Has this happened??

I have all original documents about alarm (when I can dig them out)....do I need to put pin number into keypad??

How do I do this??

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards Andy

I think if you open your car using the key to turn and unlock your door, you have to reset the alarm using the keypad.

No
If it's the same as MY99, open door with the key, put in code on key pad to switch alarm off, then put key into ignition and switch on.

This should disable superlock, for the next time; otherwise follow the booklet, entering the codes as described. Don’t want to give too much away in public forum.

Right - have found code (but to late last night to try it)

As alarm will be going off - stress!!

Do I just enter four digits or do I need to put any other characters in first like you do to set options on alarm??

Why is this not clearly stated in all the blurb you get with car and alarm?
