Rite here we go, i bought a R Reg subaru impreza last week with the head gaskets gone, started teh car when i went to see it started on the button, went bk to it 5 mins later woudlnt start. got the car bk to the workshop started gettin it of the trailer, went bk to it wouldnt start. out it down to the gaskets. removed engine etc etc, had the heads skimmed git them back fitted them later found out they had to much taken off so i have put set of heads of a M reg estate. all back in the car. NOW THIS IS WHERE ITS TRICKY AND I NEED HELP! IT DOESNT FIRE UNLESS U CLAMP THE FUELTO THE ENGINE FIRES A LITTLE BUT DOES NOT RUN.COMPRESSION TEST 130 130 130 115, TIMING IS SPOT ON. ITS GOT A GOOD SPARK, OVER 55 PSI FUEL PRESSURE ITS GOT INJECTOR PULSE, IVE CHANGED FUEL REG,FUEL INJECTORS,COIL PACK,KNOCK SENSOR,CAM SENSOUR (ITS 28THO CLEARENCE).WHAT ELSE CAN IT BE WOULD REALLY APPRICATE ANY HELP AT ALL, AN YES ITS GOT PETROL!!

fuel pump? try fitting a fuel pressure gauge to see what the fuel pressure is..
