If you get equal length headers you lose the distinctive burble, simple as. It is the unequal length that causes the burble due to exhaust gases being pulsed through at noticeably different intervals basically.

Check YouTube for vid clips. I've seen a few on there. Equal lengths sound pretty good but as said, you loose the trademark grumble. Sounds more like a gp.n escort cossie.

I went with an equal length exhaust manifold and I love the sound, as it sounds completly different to any other scoob, sounds very evo'esqe at idle and like a superbike at full chat
From what i have been told there are (possibly) more gains to be had on an equal length set up too.

Sorry mate, wouldnt have the first clue how to do a sound clip Bit of a technological neadathol you see
As to the make, I bought some XS- Power headers, which although are at the cheaper end of the market, I have had no problems with them in the year and a half of running them. These were fitted in conjunction with larger injectors. I had the usual FMIC, Power FC, decat, fuel pump and filter which made 291.5Bhp. With the larger injectors (740's) and the manifold, with a remap made a dyno proven 319.8 at 1.45 Bar boost (VF22 turbo). Changed the turbo a few months later to an MD191 running 1.7Bar (made 333Bhp at 1.55 bar on the rollers after a road remap.)
Fittment was just a pain, but more to do with location than the item itself. I also heat wrapped mine.
If I can find out how to do a sound clip, I'll pm you

My old car came with equal length out of the factory, sounds great like a high revving bike type of sound, really nice, and you dont get the slight roughness you do with uneven (vibration etc).
