two options then dude. change wheels for the correct offset, or upgrade suspension all round. but for 400-450, youll be looking at second hand goods im afraid, unless you find a bargain somewhere i didnt when i upgraded suspension.

i run 17s too with 215/40/17 toyos, and have no problems what so ever with scrubbing, but i have p1 alloys so....

you could add some spring assisters into the rear springs to stop them compressing to much... Grayston Engineering Spring Assisters will also stiffen up the rear end.

Sounds like the same problem I had. My 17's rubbed when going over bumps. My shocks were old and sloppy. Changed for KYB's, sorted.

why didnt you get wheels that fit in the first place. little bit of homework would have saved you the hassle. no offence fella, but you did this and your insurance the wrong way round.

im not an elephant, but you remember things like 'young uns without correct/corrupt' insurance policies. again no dis-respect, but i hope i never have to claim off your insurance

but this isnt about that. im not sure re. skimming. i wouldnt personally do it, id take a small loss on the wheels, and buy some designed to fit subarus in the first place any mods to the hubs etc etc spacers, skimming the like, wont do your cars hanling any good, but may help you fit thise bling bling wheels to impress the laydeez with innit

I'll rephrase my reply, take your wheels back to whoever said they would fit and get some that do fit!

It's not just a case of arch scrubbage, if you've got the wrong offset your handling will be all to **** too!

If you cut your hand off would you buy a bucket to catch the blood or would you have your hand sewn back on?
