subaru sti version 2 1995 boost problems

Default subaru sti version 2 1995 boost problems

does anyone know the correct boost preasure for the sti version 2 1995 it had a bleed valve on it and was over boosting so i screwed it right out and now its only boosting to 0.8 its a new car for me so i dont want to blow it up so if anyone could give me the correct setting i would be happy cheers

0.8 is standard I think..............

How about removing the bleed valve thing completly. At least you'll know it's not fecking up your boost level.

thought sti jdm was 1.2 bar .but might be wrong .mines a 95 wagon wrx (not sti)jdm and that on standard boast is 0.8

STi Version 2 will be running a 6K ECU as per the STi 555 V-Ltd (same car but blue).

Mapped to run 13.64psi/0.95bar boost as standard.

It depends how the bleed valve is plumbed regarding what boost it will run with it closed.
Personally I would remove it and ensure the boost control solenoid is plumbed as below :


If it doesn't run the correct boost after that then the bleed valve may of been fitted to mask a faulty boost control solenoid or a car running in limp home / safe mode
