Default sti dont feel right when driving!! any ideas

my scooby had a heavy nsf ding and the leg was replaced, the engine was removed the car was repaired and engine re fitted and runs fine but when i drive it and move the steering wheel from left to right quickly it seems like either the front end is too light or the rear tyres are flat!! the tyres are fine and its just gone through an mot and the tracking on the front wheels is fine am i being stupid or does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this, many thanks

Assuming the body shop ensured all was well in the chassis it sounds to me to be the alignment/tyre pressures etc.

Have the car set-up by an independent specialist with real Impreza experience. The front and rear ends should feel connected and you obviouslt don't have the confidence this is the case.

Most certainly!
After about a good 200 miles the rubber surface will be scrubbed off and things will be far better.

I would still do the alignment though!
