oil leak ?

Default oil leak ?

hi, iv got a 93 wrx jap import, i have noticed iv got a small oil leak and then must drip on to some part of the zorst, its on the drivers side ans im pretty sure its coming from a small sort of black box thingy its a sensor its bolted on and it has a gasket on it and sits above the cam cover and it sits sort of under where you fill the water up . if you get what i mean . sorry i just dont know whats it called any one know what i mean so i can order a new gasket to see if leak stops and how hard would it be to fit the new gasket ?

any help would be great

Do you have any pics of this black box? I have a MY96 and have a similar problem. But from what I have read on here, it's my front crank case seal that has gone.

it a oil breather/separator but normally from that area its coming from the rocker gasket, common problem.
