Default Air locks

Somebody has advised me that it is difficult to remove air from the cooling system when the rad is changed...i'm just about to do mine(big split) tomoz and need some advice on removing them all...

Do I just do the usual and run the engine for 15 mins or is there an air release valve tucked in there somewhere?

Your help is much appreciated

when i have had coolant drained down i filled back up so rad and header tank are full, ran car up on idle making sure heaters get hot and then leave for cooling fan to come in.
switched car off and let it fully cool down then removed cap on header tank and left overnight retopped in morning i have had no problems.

Heater to hot and let car tick over until full working temperature.
Let it cool then top up.
Check coolant level a couple of times over next day or two.
The heater must be to hot.

take the pipe off the header tank that goes to the upper turbo coolant pipe, fill the engine through this pipe using a funnel. When approaching 100% full you will see the coolant start to fill the header tank, put the pipe back on the header tank and top it up.
