why is there no ding
i have a 2001 bugeye and ive just noticed when i have my lights on and open the door theres no ding (warning tone) has anyone else got the same or is it just mine

Yep my Bugeye is exactly the same too. The lights go off when I turn off the ignition.You can flick that parking light switch on the steering column and then I think some stay on but i havent tried it so you might get a beep then.
theres no warning ding cos there not fitted with one. it never will unless you get and aftermarket system which would be point less as the lights go uot when the key is removed
