MY99 STI Which oil and oil filter
I'm getting the scooby MOT'd tomorrow by a little back street garage the owner of which I know (helps on emissions 
)
Anyways, I figure I might as well sling them an oil filter and fresh oil to do an oil change but I need to know what oil I require and more importantly what the oil filter part number is. At this notice I'm kind of banking on the oil filter being the same as it would be in any UK Impreza's block so that I can pick one up from the Subaru garage in the morning.
I also assume there is no special procedure in changing the scooby's oil that these backstreet bandits might not know about?
My car is an early 1999 STI 5.

I have a 99 Uk Turbo, and was advised that the best oil to use is Millers 3 Ester Fully Synthetic 10w/60, with a genuine Subaru Oil Filter. Best place to go is AS Performance.
