MAF and Induction Kit.
Excuse my ignorance, but is there a MAF sensor on a 2005 WRX? If so, does it suffer the same problems as the classic Scooby if I install an induction kit?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Yes there is a MAF sensor on all newage cars
It's pretty robust and gives fewer problems than some of the classic items.
Your main problem will be sucking in hot air from the engine bay... the OEM induction is very good and will cope with 300 + BHP with ease so why change ??

ooops.....I should have mentioned that the OEM induction is very good when fitted with a better panel filter.
The OEM panel filter on the WRX is a bit restrictive but can be replaced with a variety of aftermarket products which flow better
