Default Which TMIC for 330

I fancy going for a bit more power so I’m starting to get a list together of the parts I need.
My aim is to reach 330bhp or at least over 315bhp.

I have decided to stay with a TMIC.

I have a 95 wrx wagon.
I don’t want to spend a fortune on a Sti8/APS if an Sti3 or newage TMIC would do the job.

Which one should I get?

I have a Newage WRX in mine. They are easy enough to pick up for not much money either. These are larger than any of the classic TMIC and will see you good for 330 + a little with a undertray to match.

I was running 350 on a 95 RA with the original slanty top mount lol

But of course a larger TMIC will give you much safer running temps. I've seen a few hereabouts with some of the newage models mentioned and once shoehorned in it makes a good difference to inlet temps.

I think I can remember reading a thread where some guy assaulted his engine bay with a hammer in order to fit a newage sti TMIC.

I guess I would have to do the same and make some brackets up.

I have a MY98 (phase 1.5) would be easy for someone that can fabricate a couple of brackets (which I can't).
If not get some made up by someone that can.
