servicing in hull area, new scoob
only had my first scoob for a month now and loving it (formally had a fiat coupe 20v turbo).
the 36mth/28,000 service is now due and doesnt seem to be any subaru specialists in the hull area? welpton went best and jordans dont have the francise now.
All previous stamps in the book are subaru so looks like a trip out to st.leger (doncaster), remotorsport (york) or brecks (york). I'm thinking more towards remotorsport unless anyone has any other suggestions closer to hull? Do ya think its worth it to keep up the subaru stamp?
also, the aircon makes a 'slight sucking noise' (now now, calm down!) every now and again? seems to work ok and cold but is this normal? does it on either auto or normal. Could the pollen filter need changing? or might it need a re-gas?
I like the car and feels well set up. I was a die hard coupe turbo fan for looks and performance, speed feels similar but scoob handles better with the 4wd. The scoob feels alot lighter and doesnt suffer from as much turbo lag as the coupe. All in all, I think it is the right change, i forget about the 'bit plastic' bit when hitting the country roads

Hello Tony and welcome to Scoobynet, I live just outside Hull and have the same difficulties. I will be using RE for the next service, would have used them last time but they where unable to stamp the service record (they can now)

cheers guys, sorry for the slow reply as been on me hols. Yes, I took it to Re motorsport and was very pleased. Richard also did a few tweeks using his experience and game me the time for some advice etc.
He had a couple of others in the workshop having 500bhp 'ish' upgrades.

Come to the Ketch at Willerby every Thursday night 7.30 on for a meet with Hull Scoobs.
NEVER EVER go to Jordans. I successfully sued them for omissions on work I paid for on my Scoob. They are not to be trusted.
